"My prediction in 2007 that 2008 would be Alex's year could not have been more true. He exceeded even my high expectations of him going on to win the Ulster Cadet Championship at Easter 2008. He also won an Ulster Cup Championship round by 5 seconds which was a fantastic achievement and in the Summer he won the IRL Plate and the O Plate. His performance in Cadets last year convinced me that moving directly to the Formula KF3 Class was the way to go for Alex and with a win already under his belt in this Class in such a short time and at such a young age I know it was the right decision and I am delighted with his performance."
